You do not necessarily need to spend money engaging external IT Consultants to build and integrate Movilizer mobile applications. If you or your IT department already has good knowledge of your backend system or you already have a trusted IT partner all you/they need to do is to understand the Movilizer XML specific structure (Movilizer Protocol). It is like building an HTML page with backend data, nothing else: no middleware, no development on the mobile phones, no technical guides for set up and administration. It will take any member of your team no more than one day to get up to speed with the Movilizer so that you can start building your own mobile applications.

Whilst you will be able to build lean mobile apps in minutes or hours without any external consulting at all, more complex and integrated scenarios may require engaging Movilizer partners to coach and guide your team during the implementation. However, there is a fundamental paradigm change: the effort is purely on the backend. You build the mobile application entirely in your backend system; in the environment and programming language that your IT people know best (e.g. ABAP if you use SAP, Net if you use a Microsoft or Apex Code if you are using SalesForce.com as your backend system).The advantage is at hand: your team can really focus on the business logic and processes rather than on handling technical issues.

You do not purchase Movilizer licenses upfront. You subscribe to the Movilizer service on a User/Month basis as you use it, and everything is included: from Helpdesk to 24/7 third level support.
