SAP and the Institute for Cloud Computing presented a price for the best ideas services in cloud computing. Movilizer was herby awarded as one of the Top 3 in the category Best Cloud Service 2011.

At the award ceremony institute director Prof. Dr. Uwe Hannig made clear that in an increasingly virtual environment the access to the currently required data and IT resources from any location is essential. "We are heading towards a paradigm change already successfully fulfilled by children and young people." This leads to the conclusion that Cloud Computing defines a big step towards IT Industrialization leading enterprises to big business opportunities in the future. After all, if a private person is using "on demand" apps and transfers their data via Facebook into the cloud , they will sooner or later use Cloud Computing in their professional life.

At the highly anticipated award finale the three best candidates presented their solutions in the two categories "Best Cloud Idea" and "Best Cloud Service". SAP as a prize sponsor was pleased with the high quality of applications. Mark Steel, responsible for business development at SAP Germany, is convinced: "Young enterprises and cloud computing fit well together."

The prize‘s theme this year was „ Workplace of the Future“. Telekom was looking for innovative solutions to simplify workflows and processes, cut costs and improve collaboration based on mobile service, fixed line network, or IT service technology. The Movilizer got into the Top 15 list of the best solutions by small and medium- sized business.

Movilitas offers you a five day training course where you can learn how to mobilize any process you can think of yourself. The only precondition: you develop your app in the language of choice. So for example as an ABAP/4 expert you would develop mobile apps for Android or for Nokia mobile phones on ABAP. Therefore attendees should at least be familiar with one programming language, whatever language it is (Java, .Net, ABAP, PHP etc.). With the Movilizer you can model any process into a mobile app, and if you have lean processes you will be able to “movilize it yourself” within few hours. Training in English.

In October 2010 the television broadcast Rhein Neckar Fernsehen visited Movilitas at the Mannheim Technology Center Mafinex.
